Founder/Lead Trainer
When I was a kid, I was on a walk with my parents and a Husky on a porch charged me. The dog ended up biting my face and latched on while everyone tried to get it off. Eventually the dog let go and the scars healed. Even though this dog attacked me, I do not blame the dog. I believe that ALL DOGS are inherently good and that with the correct guidance, situations like this one could be avoided. This is why I became a Dog Trainer.
I have been around dogs my entire life from a child to an adult. Over the years my family has had a variety of dogs and I considered all of them best friends and part of the family. With over 5 years of experience in the dog training industry, I have been lucky enough to work with numerous breeds and issues. From older adult dogs to puppies, my experiences have allowed me to reach dogs at all stages of life. Throughout my career I have worked with breeders, gained a great education from a well known balanced dog training company, worked with working dogs and participated in the dog sport French Ring.
No matter what kind of day I am having there is nothing that one look at a happy dog can't fix! There is nothing more satisfying then a lifelong, loyal, furry companion and friend!
Angela Barrera
Founder/Trainer
With over 5 years in the dog industry, Angela is a balanced trainer who has worked with dogs of various breeds, ages, and temperaments. Working in diverse settings and situations has given her experience with a variety of tools to effectively cater to the training needs of individual dogs, while keeping them happy and motivated. Angela strongly believes in the importance of the relationship between dog and owner, and guides her clients towards a clear line of communication that leaves both dog and owner confident and comfortable.
Whether it's playing in the yard with the Belgian Malinois, grabbing a nap with the retired greyhound, or showing the new pup the ropes, Angela is never short on love and company. She will also take any opportunity she can get to drag Dan, and whatever dog she can bring, on new food and drink adventures!
